ReceptionAdmissions2017
Please Please can parents note that if your child currently has a place in our School Nursery admission to St. Andrews Primary School Reception class is not automatic. Parents need to apply to the LEA admissions panel.
We have a large intake in Nursery this year so please apply as soon as possible after 7.11.16 so that you get a place in our Reception 2017 intake. Unfortunately, this year we have had to turn down applications to our school.
If your child reaches four years of age by 31st August, please ensure that a completed school admission form with the relevant documentation stated in the letter (i.e. current Council Tax Bill or Driving Licence) is returned to The Schools Admissions Team at the Civic Centre by January the 8th at the latest. Further information will be sent home shortly.
Online applications open on 7th November 2016.
If you know of anyone who has a child who is four years of age by 31st August please ask them to collect an application from the Civic Centre.
Coats and bags Reminder!
As the weather is now becoming colder and more unpredictable please ensue that your child brings both a jumper and coat to school.
Outdoor learning is an important part of our curriculum and the children need to keep warm!
Book bags are on sale in the uniform shops - ideal for homework and carrying reading books to and from school.
Remember to label all items of clothing clearly with your childs name.
