Sports Day
We will be holding our annual Sports Days in three main phases on Milner Street Playing Field this year.
All pupils Year 3 to Year 6 will be attending the KS2 School Sports Day at Milner Street Field on Tuesday 4th July 2017. All pupils Reception to Year 2 will be attending the Foundation Phase School Sports Day at the same venue on Friday 7th July 2017.
Sports Day events will start at 10.00am.
Please send your child into school in their PE kit on this day.
We will be walking to Milner Street Field and taking packed lunches for a picnic lunch during the day. Please order these by Friday 30th June (see separate letter).
Please see letter sent home this week for full details.
Please note: all children in KS2 will have taken part in all races prior to our actual Sports Day. We run heats during PE lessons in school for a few weeks before Sports Day. Unfortunately, due to the number of pupils in the school it is impossible to run all heats on the day. Every child took part in every event during the heats, with the top two children from each house going through to the final. Every child in the school will be competing in at least one race during our final Sports Day event.
We look forward to you joining us on 4th, 5th and 7th of July to enjoy our Sports Day events.
