Attendance winners - congratulations!!

The best attendance awards for the Autumn term went to:

Class 2SH in Foundation Phase

and

Classes LRB LD and 3SW in Key Stage 2

Staff Changes

In Nursery: Miss Mead will join the team to support a key worker group in the morning and take our new Rising 3 group in the afternoon.

In Reception: Miss Sweeting will be joining Mrs Furteks class.

In LRB LD: Miss Cooper will be teaching the class until the Easter holidays as Mr Douglas is off sick. Mrs Harrod will be managing all LRB classes and groups will be moved around daily for different activities.

Christmas Card Recycling

St Andrews Primary School is entering a competition. Every year Newport City Council invites schools to recycle Christmas cards and the school which collects the most cards per pupil head receive a cash prize.

Please bag up the cards this week and send them into school by Wednesday 17^th January, if you have time to count them and write the number of cards collected on the bag, this would be helpful but if not don\'t worry, just send them in and we will count them in school.
