Attendance winners - congratulations!!

The best attendance awards for a class attendance total last week went to:

Class REF in Foundation Phase with 99.3%

Class 4CB in Key Stage 2 with 100%

Welsh week (Eisteddfod preparation): Mon. 18^th - Thurs. 21^st Feb.

INSET Day - school closed: Fri. 22^nd Feb.

Half Term

Reminder: We finish school on Thursday 21^st

February at 3.15pm for our half term break.

School will be closed during the week 25^th February - 1^st March.

School reopens at 8.50am on Monday 4^th March.

Eisteddfod will be held on Friday 8^th March.

Damage to School Property

It is disappointing to report recent damage to and theft of School property.

We are grateful to our nearby neighbours for reporting the citing of instances of unauthorised access and damage to the school grounds to the Police.

We are continuing to work with Police on investigating the recent damage and theft, investigations of which are assisted through the CCTV coverage of our school grounds.

We strive very hard to provide and maintain for all pupils a safe, fun and engaging school environment and seek your continued support in reporting any observation of suspicious access to school grounds outside of school times to the Police to assist in preventing further damage of school property.

Speech and Language Services

The local Speech and Language Therapy team in Gwent/ Aneurin Bevan have recently set up social media accounts to share tips and ideas to support children and young peoples speech, language and communication skills.
