New group starting at the Community Centre in Moorland Park. Starting on Wednesday 11^th November 2015

New womens only group aimed at the Black Minority Ethnic families living in our communities.The group will be held at Newport East Community Centre Moorland Park between 1.30-2.30pm.

Please come along there is no charge and refreshments will be provided.

Anti-Bullying Week

During Anti-Bullying week the following activities will be taking place in school:

• Use of SEAL programme of work Say No to Bullying.
• Visits from PC Jones, our Schools Liaison Police Officer to provide assemblies and workshops.
• Class assembly on Thursday 19^th November 2015 at 9.05am in Infant Hall - led by Class 2MH (parents are welcome to attend).
• Use of themed music - Youre Not Alone and Hopeful by Bars and Melody and True Colours Cyndi Lauper.
• Writing of anti-bullying poems - these will be judged by our School Council and prizes awarded for best poems in each year group.
• Focus on Fun and friendly playtimes with a whole school two day skipping workshop.

PARENTAL CONSULTATIONS

All Parental Consultations will be taking place week commencing Monday 16^th November 2015 and will be held in the Foundation Phase Hall.

Please note there are no after school clubs this week (Monday 16^th - Friday 20^th November), while these consultations are taking place.
