PTFA

Parent, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA)

The school has a flourishing Parent Teacher and Friends Association and the committee meets once a month and more often during busy periods, to organise various fund-raising activities. These include: Christmas Baubles, End of Term Discos, Summer Fete, etc. The money raised is given back into the school. All parents are welcome to join this group. Elections to the committee take place annually. The support that we receive from this group is immense and we are very grateful for all their efforts. Recently the PTFA has provided funds for the school to purchase resources to enhance the outdoor areas.

If you are interested in supporting the PTFA please inform the school, as new members are always welcome. Our next meeting will take place on Wednesday January 6th at 9 am in the Staff Room above the School Canteen. We welcome anyone who would like to share ideas, give any input, and offer their help. We realise it is difficult to commitee to regular support but we are happy to accomodate periodic help, especially during busy times. If you feel you would like to particpate and support the PTFA at St Andrew’s Primary School , please come along on Wednesday 6th of January for a cup of tea and a chat.
